How to connect via FTP?

With an FTP client, you can manage your website files and directories very easily.

If you do not have an FTP client yet, we highly recommend you to check out FileZilla. It is a very efficient and easy to use FTP client, that you can download and use for free at http://filezilla-project.org/download.php?type=client. It is very similar to your ordinary File Explorer in operating systems.

To connect through FTP, start the FTP client and enter your FTP credentials in their respective fields. The FTP credentials for your account can be found in your Control Panel -> Hosting Tools -> Website Manager -> FTP Manager. Alternatively, you can download a configuration file from the “FTP Configuration Files” tab, which will automatically set the necessary connection settings for your account to the FTP client, so you don’t have to enter them manually.

Once FTP connection is established, you can move the files between the left area (your local computer) and the right area (our hosting server), depending whether you want to download or upload the files.
