.ME is the country code top-level domain for Montenegro. The registry operating the .ME domains are domain.me. The domain was introduced in September 2006 and since then there have been more than 1 million registrations.

 

Requirements for .ME registration

Due to the meaning that the word ME carries, the registry for the .ME domain has decided in 2008 to allow anyone to register a domain with that extension. Currently, there are no requirements to register a .me domain for your website. This leads to the registration of domains such as to insure.me and sync.me. You can register your .me domain from our Domain Registration page.
